Illegal car racing in nurnberg: police stop two bmw drivers

In the early hours of saturday morning (07.07.2018) officers of the nurnberg traffic police succeeded in stopping an illegal car race in nurnberg. Vehicles and driver’s licenses were secured.

Around 00:30 a.M., a patrol car of the traffic police in nurnberg observed two BMW vehicles in zeppelinstrabe. The two bmws (435i and 135i) had positioned themselves side by side and were massively accelerated by the two vehicle drivers.

Here the 22-year-old driver of the BMW 435i drove on the opposite lane and thus against the direction of travel. An oncoming vehicle therefore had to swerve onto the parking lane to avoid a possible accident.

The two "racers could be caught up and stopped by the patrol at the mouth of the beuthen strait.

By order of the nurnberg-furth public prosecutor’s office, the driver’s licenses and the two high-powered vehicles (each over 300 hp) were seized.
